One integrated system across quality, safety and environment
Our Integrated Management System covers quality, work health and safety, and environment in one set of documents rather than three that contradict each other. It runs to 31 policies and a register of 66 procedures, and it is the system every division works to.
The core three are the Quality Policy, the Work Health and Safety Policy and the Environmental Policy. Underneath them sit the ones that get used daily on site: Risk Management and Safe Work, Incident Reporting and Investigation, Emergency Management and First Aid, Fatigue Management, Fitness for Work, Working at Heights and Fall Prevention, Traffic and Pedestrian Management, Manual Handling, Hazardous Materials and Airborne Contaminants, and Demolition and Structural Stability.
On remediation work the ones that matter most day to day are Hazardous Materials and Airborne Contaminants, which covers lead and coating removal, Working at Heights and Fall Prevention, and Risk Management and Safe Work.
