Manufacturing Facility in Minto
Client: Unilever
At the Unilever Manufacturing Facility in Minto, Perfect Remediation was engaged to prepare a stainless steel vessel for weld repairs and recoating. The scope included precise mechanical preparation of weld seams, followed by the application of a zinc-rich epoxy coating system.
Given the vessel’s complex geometry and confined work zone, our team used grinders, wire wheels, and flap discs to achieve the required surface profile without damaging adjacent equipment – all completed in a single mobilisation with zero disruption to surrounding operations.
Mount Annan Leisure Centre
Clients: YMCA / Camden Council
At the Mount Annan Leisure Centre, we undertook surface remediation to corroded steel elements including the slide structure, column bases, and connection points, all within a live public facility. Works were carried out using a combination of sandblasting and mechanical needling, with hoardings in place to isolate the work area. Given the proximity to public-use zones, dust containment, air monitoring, and safe staging were critical. Our team implemented effective controls and sequencing to complete the works cleanly and safely — without impacting centre operations.
