Coatings fail at the preparation stage
Ninety percent of premature coating failures trace back to surface preparation, not the paint. Salt left on steel, profile too shallow, humidity ignored on application day. So we treat preparation as the job: abrasive blasting to the specified class under AS 1627, soluble salt testing, and climate monitoring before a drop of coating goes on.
Then the system is applied to the manufacturer's data sheet and the project spec, with wet and dry film thickness checked and recorded coat by coat. You get the inspection records at handover, not an argument at the defect inspection.
Where our crews work
Water and wastewater plants, bridges and road infrastructure, factory steelwork and process plant, fuel and chemical tanks, wharves and marine piles. Live industrial environments are normal for us: night shifts, shutdown windows, permits, inductions and working around operations that cannot stop.
Difficult access is normal too. Rope access technicians, EWPs, swing stages and confined space entry teams are all in house, which keeps scaffold costs out of jobs that do not need them.
